New Beginnings in Christ offers Reconciliation, Restoration, and Recovery for the man who is suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. We are a four month or longer unapologetically Christ-centered residential recovery program. We believe the only way a man can successfully recover and stay sober is to have a spiritual awakening and accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. We implement the 12 steps of recovery as presented in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous coupled with daily church services and recovery support meetings. NBIC currently has 48 men in the discipleship program. The men attend 17 meetings/services per week and have opportunity daily to hear the gospel, grow in their Christian faith, and be discipled. Each man has vocational training opportunities through various work therapy assignments including, but not limited to, Carpentry skills, Kitchen training, Woodwork shop, as well as building trades, Plumbing and Electrical, Administration assistance and the list grows daily as God places new men with the gifts for the edifying and training of the saints. We are blessed daily to see men going to the altar being saved and growing in relationship with our risen Lord Jesus Christ. Last month we had 5 graduates.
NBIC is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3), tax exempt organization and all your donations are 100% tax deductible. Our next goal and most recent vision is to build another facility on site like our new Church and kitchen facility. The focus would be primarily to house 24 men who are struggling with the life-dominating sins of alcoholism and addiction. The facility would be for a rec room and would house 24 men, it would include 6 showers and 6 bathroom stalls with 6 sinks. We are seeking foundation materials, lumber, plumbing, and electric supplies.

Power and water aren't repairs but everyday bills. If your roof fell in insurance should have covered it but I am guessing you have no insurance?

I am a mother of 35. I came from an Island where my village is overpopulated and land is limited. It is very hard for my community to make money to send youths to school. Most youths are unemployed and involved in activities like taking marijuana, home brew, under age marriage, stealing or law and order problem is at high rate. I was one of the youth who have seen the land shortage problem and struggled to find job opportunities in town in order to help my family and my community if I am successful some days. I have been trying to save some money to help my community but what I earn is nothing to my community because of living standards in town and also now that I have kids and my husband has diabetes, and my contract ended 6months ago, I really need financial help to start a small project to sustain my community and family's everyday need. I need financial assistance.Thank you.

This list is not about finding a social program, it is about the vast dollars being wasted by our government.
